I was born and raised in North Vancouver, British Columbia. I attended the University of British Columbia for my Bachelor of Science degree and for dental school, obtaining my DMD degree in 2014. While practicing as a general dentist for 4 years in Nanaimo, BC, and Red Deer, Alberta, I developed an interest in endodontics. I returned to UBC to complete a Diploma in Endodontics and a Master of Science in Craniofacial Sciences. My research focused on comparing the efficacy of different irrigation methods in removing materials from the root canal. In my free time, I enjoy playing squash, running long distances, road biking and cooking new recipes with my wife.
